Industry Overview

U.S Nuclear Power plants currently operating under existing licenses are now extending their licenses enabling them to generate power for future decades. These companies are maximizing their investment in current facilities to deliver increasing power needs to satisfy the increasing demand, rather than relying solely on new plants to fulfill load growth. Keeping existing plants operating over longer periods of time requires increasing investments in maintenance and repair. Companies that can provide these needed services are in a strong position to capitalize on this business opportunity. Also, progressively more power generating companies are outsourcing repair and rebuilt services to specialized companies to make their own operations more cost effective. This in turn will generate additional opportunity and ultimately increased business for these service companies.
